Terms and Conditions for Squeaky Queen Detailing

These Terms and Conditions apply to all services provided by Squeaky Queen Detailing ("the Company"), a sole trader specializing in motorcycle detailing. By booking, making payment or using our services, you agree to the following terms:

1. Scope of Services

1.1. The Company provides motorbike detailing services, including various packages and maintenance plans.
1.2. A detailed description of each package is available and can be expanded upon request.

2. Customer Responsibilities

2.1. The customer must disclose any known issues with their motorbike’s paintwork, finishes, or coatings before the detailing begins.
2.2. Motorbikes must be in a safe and cleanable condition. Excessive dirt or grime may result in additional charges.

3. Liability

3.1. The Company uses chemicals designed to clean and detail motorbikes without damaging sealed paintwork or powder coating. However, untreated or poorly applied paintwork, such as spray-can paint, may be affected. The customer accepts full responsibility for any pre-existing conditions or damage.
3.2. The Company is not liable for any damage caused by undisclosed or pre-existing defects in the motorbike’s paint, finish, or structure.

4. Bookings and Cancellations

4.1. A deposit may be required to secure a booking. Deposits are non-refundable unless cancelled with at least 48 hours notice.
4.2. The Company reserves the right to cancel or reschedule appointments due to unforeseen circumstances, such as adverse weather conditions, and will notify the customer as soon as possible.

5. Payment

5.1. Full payment is due upon completion of the service, unless otherwise agreed.
5.2. The Company accepts cash and bank transfers.

6. Warranty and Satisfaction

6.1. The Company aims for 100% customer satisfaction. If the customer is not satisfied with the service, they must notify the Company immediately to allow for resolution.
6.2. The Company does not offer warranties for the durability of detailing work beyond the scope of the service provided unless otherwise stated.

7. Damage or Theft

7.1. While the motorbike is in the Company’s care, all reasonable precautions will be taken to ensure its safety. However, the Company is not liable for damage resulting from circumstances beyond its control, such natural disasters.

8. Maintenance Plan Terms

8.1. Customers enrolled in maintenance plans must adhere to scheduled appointments or provide at least 48 hours notice for rescheduling.
8.2. Failure to comply may result in forfeiture of that maintenance session without refund.

9. Photographs for Promotional Use

9.1. The Company reserves the right to take photographs of motorbikes during and after the detailing process. These photographs remain the property of the Company.
9.2. By using the Company’s services, the customer grants permission for these photographs to be used for promotional purposes, including but not limited to social media, website galleries, and marketing materials.
9.3. Identifiable details, such as number plates, will be obscured unless explicit consent is given by the customer.
9.4. If the customer does not wish for photographs of their motorbike to be used, they must notify the Company in writing before the service is completed.

10. Privacy Policy

10.1. The Company collects and stores customer information solely for the purpose of providing services and managing bookings. This information will not be shared with third parties without the customer’s consent.

11. Amendments

11.1. The Company reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated versions will be made available to customers prior to their next booking.

12. Governing Law

12.1. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
